401k Catch-Up Setup in BN

We are having an issue with the system for employees that make the catch-up election for their 401k contributions. We use a separate deduction code for the catch-up contributions and it is done outside of our standard BN plan setup. As such, the company match is not calculating correctly. I have looked through the Lawson support and haven't found anything that helps. We would like to have the catch-up done within the BN plan to ensure the plan rules and match calculation are followed and done correctly. Does anyone had a similar situation and have any guidance on how to setup within Lawson for 401k catch-up? Thank you in advance.

Hi Saundra, do you use BSI? Are you set up with a BSI Group Code on the Tax tab of HR11? This is how we manage the catch up deductions without issue.

Yes, we do use BSI. We use the BSI group code. Do you use a seperate PR deduction code for the catch-up amounts or do you use the original code?

We use the same PR deduction code.

Thanks Rachel. Our 401k requires us to report catch-up deductions separate from the standard contributions. Does anyone have it setup with 2 separate deductions?

We make our carrier track the catch-up deductions.
