Open Enrollment and New Employee Groups

Prior to Open Enrollment each year, we update employee groups based on wellness screening participation. The employee group determines the health premium the employee will pay effective 8/01/14. We want the employees to see their new premium amount in Open Enrollment ESS in July. But if we update the employee groups before Open Enrollment, it will affect the premium they pay in July. Does anyone do anything similar and, if so, have you figured out a way for ESS to display the appropriate premiums while not impacting current premium deductions?

Yes, we do something very similar and what we had to do is create 2 user fields for the employee groups to read. It reads one for the present year and then one for the future year and then we rotate them. We also update the rate tables each year so we rotate the employee groups as well.
