Process Level Setup for Acquired Company
I am working with a healthcare client that is integrating two instances of Lawson. In the conversion to the new version, the acquired company is considering moving from over 100 process levels (EIN + Location = Process Level), to just one process level with a common pay master. Technically, there are 8 EINs with employees that could be setup on PR06 as additional EINs. I have recommended keeping 8 process levels, one independent head process level and the rest dependent.
Considering regulatory issues such as tax, unemployment and AA/EEO reporting, are there any major considerations for the one process level structure?
