SAML 2.0 Authentication
unknown
Has anyone redirected their LSF SSO to another login page to establish a session? We're looking to use a SAML2.0 authentication for single sign-on across multiple applications (not just Lawson). I'm told it's supported, but am having a hard time finding the documentation on how to do it. I'm assuming it's a matter of changing a few things in the ssoconfig utility, but was wondering if anyone has done this before and what the specifics were.

We are also looking to implement SAML 2.0 but in our case it is to acheive SSO to a third party application that will hang off of our existing EMSS menu. To complicate matters, we have two webservers for internal and external (DMZ) access. Has anyone implemented SAML in this type of configuration and did it cause any issues with LSF SSO? Jeremy - assuming they can coexist, what is the reason you want to replace the Lawson SSO with SAML?

We are implementing a new Intranet site that will require authentication to access. The team implementing that would like to implement single sign-on to various applications within the organization so that the user only has to authenticate once. We're already bound to AD for authentication, but would need to redirect the sign on page to this corporate single sign-on.

Jeremy,
We have been working with Lawson on developing the SAML authentication, specifically utilizing PingFederate. We're going to be setting up alternate logins this week, hopefully. Basically the plan is to set up additional services that won't use SAML.
I'll see if I can get one of the fellas who is working on that project more closely to give you some insight.

Jaremy,
We are bound to AD as well. So you are wanting your users hit the SAML login page first and then pass the credentials to LSF so the user does not need to log in again? I didn't realize this was an option, keep usposted.
