W2 Year-End Checklist

I am wondering if anyone has a year-end checklist from an IT stanpoint of what to do in respect of W2 , like patches etc.

We don’t really have a checklist. We know that the patches are available after Dec 1. At that point, we review the Year End documentation on the support site. The support site is monitored through December and into January so that we are aware of any changes. We usually wait until early January to apply the patches since there are new ones released throughout December and January.

We are not particularly concerned with formal testing since it has been Lawson’s practice to only include Year End fixes in these patches. However, I do remember some grumbling in the community forums this year discussing the fact that there were non-year end fixes included in the year end patches. I believe Infor did republish the patches to address this concern.
