Infor Cash Module

The Finance team at Gordon Food Service has had discussions about whether we should look at the cash module that is offered through Infor Lawson. We currently have the application as part of our Lawson suite, but have never implemented it. We would like to learn more about the module.

We are in the initial discovery phase and know it would be beneficial to understand how this module is used, limitations, etc. If anyone could share their experience with cash module, we would appreciate the feedback. Thank you!

I'm not completely clear on what you're referring to. Do you mean the 'Cash Ledger" module, system code "CB"?

Setup in CB00 is mandatory if you're using Accounts Payable, and probably some other Financial modules. I would think you're already using Cash Ledger if you're using the Finance Suite.

If you're not using the Financial Suite, I don't know what you would hope to gain by implementing the Cash Ledger. The whole point of an ERP is reliable and automatic integration across the whole package.

So, I suggest you go "All In" with the Financial Suite, or completely disregard it.
