MDBREADMI and MRS programs

Looking for documentation on the set up of the new custom api queries in M3. Trying to create a new query to retrieve the ROUT field from OOHEAD (the MI programs do not return this information pre-delivery but need it for order confirmation. Where can I find the documentation on this functionality that explains step by step?

You can easily create your own using API Toolkit and adding a new Read API to the MDBREADMI using MdbRead.exe
