Matrix

Can someone give me some suggestions on what they use to keep track of their Purchasing matrix.

I was given number of requisitioners, number of PO's, number of suppliers, number of receivings, number of repairs, and the number of cost messages.

I just wanted some feed back to what other companies ae using

What John said! (I shamelessly stole several of his)

My current Month End Stats has:
Database Metrics: # of non-stock req locs, #Requesters, #Inbasket Approvers, #PO Vendors (AP Status A vs D), Item Master changes that month (Adds, changes, Inactivations, Net Gain/Loss)

Inventory Values: Captured by IC234 as part of month end close with the RNI total value, Cost Savings Report Total

Requisitions: #Reqs and if the buyer had to approve/manually process, #capital/project paper reqs, (we track batch vs buyer - 91% of our POs are created by the PO100 jobs)

POs: Automated (EDI, Fax, Email) vs Manual (phone, print and fax), Manual Lines are also tracked by issue date - same day, 24h, 48h 72h+, Item Master items vs Specials

Receiving: Received lines per user, indications how many times a requester received their own line

Invoicing: All of John's basically! We also track Buyer Messages still open at month end that were created prior to the 20th. Per policy, these should be cleared or have been escalated to Contracts.
