ACA Coverage Level and Cost
unknown
We are stuck.
We have ran BN729 and generated history data for all of the correct people with the correct priority and safe harbor codes. When looking through that data we noticed that the report is bringing in all of our plans, but we are not seeing the lowest cost option reflected (example: nearly everyone is brought in as option 59, which is our family coverage - neither the lowest nor highest cost to employees yet option 59 happens to be the highest option code we use).
Does anyone know what logic it uses to determine which option to bring in for the lowest cost option?

We have the same issue. I did have to change the priority of the plans and it helped but on the BN29 it is listing all 4 of the plans that each person is eligible for and further yet, it is listing 2 or more with asterisks!
My only hope is that when the 1095C is created, it chooses the lowest cost plan and only reports that.
Does anyone have a view to when the Phase 2 CTP will be released?

You should be seeing all eligible plans showing on the BN29. The rate that comes in from the BN729 I think is the lowest cost in the plan. However, if it came from the error report if they're not in the same employee groups anymore, than it reports the amount they were covered by.
If you want to override the rates that come through, you can specify it in the Override Cost on the ACA settings on the benefit plan or on the options.
Michelle, if you're seeing multiple plans on the same day with an asterix, then something is wrong with your data. You should re-check how it was pulled over and possibly open a case with Lawson regarding it.

Hi Robert,
Thank you for your reply. We have actually opened a ticket with Infor because we cannot figure out why these rates are pulling through. BN729 is showing the cost for a specific tier of the plan (always showing family coverage), but not necessarily a tier that was offered to the employee (ie an employee cannot be offered family coverage if they have no dependents). Additionally, the cost associated with the plan they chose (marked by *) is not accurate. It seems like the coverage option is not linked to the rest of the data. I will update this thread once we resolve this with Infor, but keep the suggestions/ideas coming!

Can anyone advise that if an employee has 2 records due to a plan change on the BN729, should I let that flow through on the BN529?
We pay biweekly and have 24 pays out of 26 that we take health deductions. I added the monthly cost to the BN19.5 screens (BN15 cont button). This has provided the correct lowest cost.
