Changes to Process Levels, departments and Locations
Greetings,
We currently export our GL to a 3rd party application.
We currently send Process Level, Department and Account information for each transaction.
The spec is changing and now they want to reassign our existing PL's, and also replace our existing 2 digit department numbers with 3 digit values.
I was not involved with our initial setup and have had no experience with this portion of Lawson. I'm looking to determine if this type of change requires a re-evaluation of our HR installation, I mean won't we basically be starting from scratch?
Should I get Lawson involved? Is this something Lawson helps with or do I need to find a consultant?
