RQC Requesting Company/Requesting Location Security Violation Error
lxiong3
I have a Incident open with GSC, but wondering if anyone has seen this error and how have you resolved it? See attached screenshot of the error. Appreciate any feedback.
I have one RQC Requester that continues to get this error, which happens after he logs on to RQC and tries to click on "Search Catalog" or navigate past the basic tab. I've been able to place an order under this Company/Requesting Location without any issues. This user has placed multiple requisitions in the past without any issues until recently.
I've been able to resolve the issue temporarily by recreating a profile.xml in the RQC_Work directory as I've notice it becoming missing.

I do not see any attachment, what version of Lawson and RQC are you on?

Hey, I'm not able to see the attachment either.

Sorry, probably forgot to hit the upload button.

I cannot read the error message.

See if this works better.

What security access does that requester have for both company and acct units?
lxiong3
We don't restrict Company and Acct Units. The requester's defaults are Comp 1 and Acct Unit: 75706.
gtesche
Company security is still setup on a person/user level though.

Did you review the requester setup on rq04? Double-check the requesting locations are setup properly there and rq01.
lxiong3
Yes, RQ04 and RQ01 are setup properly. Nothing has changed with those records and the requester is able to intermittently order.
Legacy Contributor
Does this requester have multiple locations assigned? It's possible the 75706 location is not listed under the "Accounting Units" tab.
lxiong3
John,
The requester doesn't have any specific locations assigned. I even tried to assign the requester 75706; and he continues to receive the error.

If you have been unable to resolve-When all else fails-have IT add RQC utilities access and have them or user run the RQC Cache Refresh.
lxiong3
Do you know if the utility needs to be run by the user? I've already trigger a RQC Cache Refresh and deleted his CookieH file in the RQC_Work Directory.
Legacy Contributor
I checked with IT and he says the user needs to run it. He gives them access and talks them through it.

Our authority for number of users is LSF. We keep the number of active RQC users up-to-date via IPA and emails, then use LSF reports for audit purposes.

Just wanted to follow back up on this issue. It was resolved or hasn't happen since doing the following:
Thanks Nancy for the suggestion of clearing RQC IOS Cache.
See KB #1559783:
- Remove the Unix ID from the current environment in the Manage Identities config in LSA for this user.
- Complete the steps from KB#1212322 to remove the RQC cookies & xml files related to this user
- From the RQC Utilities bookmark, run refresh RQC-IOS Cache Refresh. (

I just started experiencing this with a user and have tried everything here (removing the env id, work xml file and cookies, ios and rqc cache, recycle PC and lawson services) and have had no luck!! If I add the users RecLoc to CompanyControl the error for shopping goes away but I can't find a fix for 'LineStatus' or 'Status.' Any suggestions? Thanks in advance!! (I too have a ticket open with Infor.)
