Help Cobol Compiler not found in PATH
Legacy Contributor
We are on a Lawson Windows env and attempting to update our env from 9.0.1.8 to 9.0.1.12. We get as far as the installation Window and choosing our env, but then we get the message "cobol compile not found in PATH". The cobol.exe path is correct when we check with "which cobol", so not sure what we are missing. Any help appreciated.
Thanks
Jody

Must be an upgrade kind of weekend.
We are doing the same and also have an error. We are on Unix so the only thing I can suggest is the cobol validation on pages 24 and 25 of the install guide. Did you install wrap pack 7?

Thanks Diane. We did do the validation. I don't know what wrap pack 7 is though. Can you explain?

We are moving from 9.0.1.5 to 9.0.1.12 and there were fix pack requirement changes along the way. See the latest compatibility matrix. I don't know what version you are on.

Actually, we just got it to work - not quite sure how, but we are moving forward right now. Thanks much for your help.
