ECN integration with Sharepoint

I am looking for examples of groups that have used Sharepoint to integrate with the Visual EC process. I am working my way through the EC module and am finding that it does a lot of what we want but it is quite cumbersome to use.

In visual seven there is suppose to be the ability to use sharepoint integration. Has anyone done this.

If this isn't possible does anyone have a pared down ec system that will allow the following:

- simple workflow
- locking of designs when the under EC
- quick where used
