Work Orders linked to Customer Orders

Is there a way to automatically open the Work Order linked to a Customer Order?

My scenario: When I create a Customer Order and check the box for "New W/O" and click save, a Job ID is created with the Work Order Base ID. I would like to click on the Job ID and have the manufacturing window open with the Work Order. Such functionality is possible in the Material Planning Window. Is there a setting I can adjust, or is this not possible?

If you are on a newer version of VISUAL I think you can just double-click on the WO ID and it will open in the Mfg Window. Otherwise I know if you right click on that customer order line there is an option to "Open in Mfg Window" and that will bring you there too.

I agree with Jason. Click the row header to highlight the customer order line. Then right click to get the popup menu. You may see manufacturing window menu there. click it will open the work order as long as a work order is linked to that line.

I'm on version 7.0 of Visual. Double clicking on the WO ID doesn't work, but right clicking and selecting Manufacturing Window did the trick.

I just tested my latest version 7.1.2. I don't see double click works. Double-click may work the other way , open customer order from manufacturing window.

Hmmm, yeah, I was wrong on the double-click thing. I must have been thinking of the Material Planning Window... or maybe I dreamed it up at one point too....
