LP140 Re-Run

When we run our regular payroll cycle we are currently running the LP140 in Rerun. I am not sure why it is run this in rerun if this is the first time we are completing the job. Does anyone do the same? If so, what is the reason for doing sol? I believe this takes additional time to complete and I am looking for way to cut processing time.

Yes, we also always run the job with Rerun set to Yes. I don't know how it affects processing time but we always run it that way in case we have to rerun it, there is no need to remember to change the parameter.
