Do I need to create a Pay Class in PR20 in order to have it available in BN00.5 in the ACA Pay Class

Does anyone create a Pay Class in PR20, previous to configure BN00.5, so it can be shown when I do the drop down option for the field ACA Pay Class field in BN00.5? The only ones that I have available are the ones that we previously created for Payroll purposes, such as: Sick Bank, Contract Dock, Contract Pay, Dock Pay, Overtime Pay, Tips Pay and Work Comp.

Yes you need to create a pay class for ACA first... it's actually the first step in the documentation that Infor put out there on how to build/run ACA.

Thank you very much. In the documentation that I got didn't say anything about create a Pay Class in PR20, actually everything starts with configuring the BN00.5. I know that it's pretty obvious, but I just want to be sure. Thanks again.

you're right it doesn't specifically say to create one ... if you have one that has all the hours codes in it you could use it . We created a new one so we could adjust it and not affect anything else.
