BSI 10 Tax Issues with staff working in DC and residing in MD or VA
unknown
Hi all,
We are testing with BSI 10 and are having issues with staff working in DC and residing in MD or VA. We updated PR13 to reflect the new CERT Codes (2&3) and the correct taxes are calculating for the resident staft but no taxable income is being calculated. Any help would be appreciated.

We are having the same issue in testing V10 with Lawson 10.0.5. When we have an employee working in PA but residing in MD, the withholding taxes are calculated but the taxable income is shown on the PR140 or PR80 for the resident state. Taxable income does calculate for the work state. We ran a display log on a PR80 and the log shows the resident state taxable income coming from BSI but the data is not getting picked up by Lawson. I have a case open with Lawson.

We opened a case with Lawson this morning, and here is the response that they just sent us.
If you notice now that only the tax, not the taxables are updating for your local taxes, we would like you to email BSI at support@bsi.com
We have been working directly with them and what they are going to do is take your issue to their research department to investigate/validate the results.
On your emails to them, please cc: kathy.mcgowan@infor.com so that we are still involved.
