LDAP Bind
todd-brown
Question about the LDAP/AD bind in Lawson V10. Currently in LSF901 we cannot bind Lawson but to only one AD. We have the need to authenticate thru multiple AD's. Does anyone know if this changes in V10?

Hi, in LSF 901 yes you can do binding to multiple AD. I have done and it is working but for V10 if you are using kerberos it is not but STS i think it is possible.

Hi Kyriconirac,
How were you able to bind LSF 901 to multiple ADs?
Would you please explain, at least at a high level.
Thanks.

Is the AD bind process the same in V10 as in 901?

Okay, here is what I have found out so far, and this is from Infor so if someone knows different let us know:
1 V10 bind is the same as 901
2 If you want to bind to multiple domains you have to run the ldapbind process for each domain. Then when a user tries to authenticate it will search EVERY domain you have bound until it finds it. Obvisously duplicates would pose a problem
3 They steered us to professional services for this as well, of course.
