Searching TM by Social Security
unknown
We are 60 days from go-live (implementing version 10.2) and we are struggling with finding a way to search employees by social security number. We use SSN searches for employment verification, rehire status checks, etc.
Has anyone found a way to easily search TM by SSN? Any help or direction would be FANTASTIC!

Hello,
We are on an older version of LTM so I do not know if this will help with version 10, but if you can add a field on the Resource record go to Options, select Modify List Definition and click on add a field and add the following path in the field box: PrimaryWorkAssignment.EmployeeIdentificationNumberRel.IdentificationNumber. Once you have this field you can filter and search by social security number on the resource record.

I've never been on any version other than 10, so I apologize for responding and not knowing the entire story.
I believe what Nancy is referring to is "Personalization" in version 10. Her method sounds like it would be a good work-around. If you personalize your resource listing to include the ID, then you could search the SSN in the Keyword field.

Is there a "work around" the error message on the BN529, "invalid entry date format"?

Nancy Stanley, that worked like a charm!
For those on 10.2, I went into Config Console, added the field Nancy referenced to our Resource Search page. I was able to get the search to work searching for the first four or last four and putting an asterisk before and after. Example: *4847*. This will help us tremendously.
Thanks Nancy! And thanks everyone that responded so quickly.
