Landmark enterpriseapp environment WAS application server selection

During the landmark install it suggests creating an application server and a virtual server on WAS 8.5.5. Which was done. A separate profile was not created which is probably part of the problem. Anyway during the install it asks for the profile, node, virtual host, etc., but not the application server during the configure WAS section. Anyway the install is working but when I ran the enterpriseapp gen law-env command it deployed the application under the "server1" application server and not the "lawipa_app" application server I created. Both server1 and lawipa_app are defined, but I can't tell why it chose server1 over lawipa_app. All the validation links work under server1. So the second question is why create a separate application server to begin with? I manually added the properties and variables to lawipa_app and remapped the landmark environment to it and restated and again all the links work. Just curious how to tell enterpriseapp which application server to use?
