Document Imaging software for employee files

Looking for companies that provide document imaging to convert our paper employee files to electronic.

Looking for names of vendors as well as your feedback on your experience with implementation, whether you are integrated with Lawson/Infor, and whether you contracted for scanning services.

We used ScanningAmerica in Lawrence,KS. Awesome customer service. Don't know where you are located so don't know if that will work for you, but I can give you contact information if you need it.

We looked at a few other vendors for scanning, but ended up going with MHC Software. At the same time, we also replaced our existing check/W-2 vendor with MHC as well. MHC now provides us with solutions for scanning, invoice approval workflow, check production (both payroll and AP checks), W-2 production, 1099 production and WTPA reporting (New York State requirement).

We have been very happy with both the software itself and the company/service. They provided a cost-effective solution and we've been extremely impressed with their high level of customer service.

(I'm not sure if they provide scanning services or not because we do our own)

We use Perceptive Software. They are a Lawson partner so we did integrate with Lawson. However, the "integration" is just the ability for us to map to a screen in Lawson. We don't actually launch the imaging software from within Lawson or vice versa, which would be ideal.

I was only peripherally involved with the implementation and from what I recall, it was not too painful. They did provide good service and we continue to work with them.

By the way, we also use MHC for some products/services and they have excellent service!
