The company wants to use base rates and an additional amount for ladders and/or certifications. Is anyone using that capability in the lawson environment?
Ex. Base rate is 15.00 clinical ladder is 1.00 and certification is 1.00
On the HR11.1 the pay rate will reflect only the base rate.

We have some set up using shift tables PR24. The shift table attaches to the pay code based on criteria built in it and the employee record.

I was researching that capability. For example do you add the grades and the steps on the PR24.1 table or do you just add the additional amount for that specific job code?

You can do either as long as it applies to all employees who would receive that pay code and have that criteria on their time record.
You can use any combo of these fields - Shift, job code, schedule, grade, step.
Depending on your organization, it can get complicated.
