Time Record entry for Cash PTO

We are making adjustments to the frequency in which our part-time employees can request cash PTO. I am trying to come up with a way that they could submit their request via ESS.

We do not use Lawson's Time Keeping (we use API Payrollmation).

Considering setting up a Vacation Sell benefit plan to allow an election, but would then have to export the enrollment and MS Add-in it into the Payroll system. Is there a way to allow this entry in ESS as a time record but limit them to only being able to enter that specific pay code?

I'm open to an out of the box suggestion here................

We are not looking to make any changes to ESS as we don't own the Design Studio tool, this would have to be something that works with standard vanilla Lawson ESS.
