File Channel Remote Directory
unknown
I working on setting up a file channel to pick up a file from our LSF server and am confused by the description of what the setting for the remote directory should be. Should it be a sub-directory of the user's home directory?

I should add that IPA is running on a Windows box, and LSF is running on a Linux box.

We set up a share drive to the remote directory that we wanted to use and made the file type local. Not sure how that works with Linux.

I have file channels setup on a Unix Box, If you can FTP to your Linux box you should be able to do what we did, and set a file channel to use FTP. The remote Directory should be where the file is saved to. So if it's saved in the print folder for a job, the job would have to always be run by the same user with the same name.
Example file channel remote directory for above: /lawson9/law/print/user/job/1

Thank you - that was exactly what I needed.
