OII and Office 2016!
unknown
We have a customer who has site wide been upgrading their work stations to Office 2016 (a mix of windows 7 and windows 10 installed OS).
There is one PC running a windows 7 / office 2010 combo and emailing statements etc... from Opera (as normal) producing a valid pdf file.
All the Office 2016 installed PC's all trigger (windows 7 & 10):
"Printer not activated, error code -30" and create a 0 byte pdf file.
OII v7.44.10 installed.
- checked 'nul' printer port in use (and tested adding a PDF local port).
- checked for latest version of Amyuni driver (v500).
- checked local Pegasus folder permissions.
- checked with support (confirming no testing yet for Office 2016).
Has anyone tested or resolved or other suggestions to try please?
Thanks

Hi, to our knowledge it is not supported until Feb next year. We have howeer managed to get it working on a machine in here.
Im not sure if this will help, but ages ago, we used to get this with a printer not activated, error code -40 & youd to search & delete the following files:
CDintf
acpdfui400
acfpdf
acpdf400
Which I think if memory serves me correct were in c:windowssystems32 etc

Attached was the official document sent to us by Pegasus. I know this was an error -41, but could be similar to yours
Inquiry Tab Placement.docx

Another (possibly 'nuclear') option might be to upgrade them to Opera 3 and let that use the XFRX driver to produce PDFs.

Thanks James & Alan
- Sales are in discussions for Opera 3 / cloud.
- I will test the file search & remove.

I have just spoken to Pegasus and their current statement is "There isn't currently a timeframe on the roadmap for Opera II to be supported for use with Office 2016 so we can't advise on your issue at the moment"
I have the same issue on a Windows7 / Office 2016 and OperaII V7.45.10 site. Cannot publish a new invoice from SOP to Email. PDF is attached to the email but when you click send in outlook you get the following messages -
1.failed creating PDF. Retry - YES NO -
2.Printer not activated, error code 30 OK - PDF creation failed. Can you please 3.re-print the invoice to create the PDF file.
Does anybody have a fix for this ?

We will be testing Microsoft Office 2016 Desktop with Pegasus products during the first quarter of 2016.
