uninstalling an application patch - activate ended unsuccessfully

Hi All - I am uninstalling a number of application patches. I was uninstalling my first patch - I ran lawappinstall with the UNINSTALL parameter. The uninstall ran successfully. When I ran the ACTIVATE step, it ended unsuccessfully because there was an apploadcsv that was trying to load data to a table that had a column removed. The patch did remove the tables and columns, the reorg ran successfully and the programs were recompiled successfully. The only thing that did not work is the apploadcsv. I don't need this data to be laoded because I'm backing out the patch.

I was always told that I cannot install or uninstall a patch if the activate step did not work.

Has anyone else experienced this issue? If so, how do I get around it?

Will I have issues uninstalling my next patch?

We are Windows 2008 - SQL Server 2008R2.

Any comments on a resolution will be greatly appreciated.
