LSF Security Training
deanna-plant
We recently purchased LSF Security Accelerator and are just kicking off the process of converting our laua classes to LSF Security. As part of the quote for the Accelerator, we were suggested to take the LSF Security Admin 9.0 class but the timing of this public class is not working out very well for our project timeline. It was recommended to take class prior to consulting to begin. The Admin class supposedly includes some advanced scripting training that the following vLabs do not include. For those of you who have taken the LSF Security classes, do you feel the following classes were enough or would you recommend the full-blown Admin class?
Introduction to Lawson Security 9.0 - The Basics
Introduction to Lawson Security 9.0 - Beyond the Basics
Thanks in advance!

Deanna, I took the advanced scripting as a vLab along with the Basics and Beyond the Basics. The scripting was helpful in learning how to get around and what steps to take, but I think it can be done later. We did use Kinsey to help with the conversion from laua, and our rep was very helpful with setting up the security and with scripting. Hope this helps

Hi Sharon,
I do not see that the advanced scripting class is available as a vLab. Do you recall what that vLab was called? Was it a one day only class?
Thank you,
Deanna

It was "Lawson Security 9.0.1 Advanced Rule Writing for HCM V-Lab" I think there was one for finance, too. I took it in August, 2011, but I think it was only 1 day.
