Here is an odd one. We just upgraded our environment in test from 9.0.1.5 to 9.0.1.11. This also involved upgrading Oracle from 10G to 11G, AIX from 5.3 to 7.1, WebSphere from 6 to 7, and portal to a version to match the environment. The first time we access something in portal it is really slow, and it seems to be at an individual level, and after that first access it is quick until the next reboot. A couple examples, I go into period time entry after a reboot, and it takes 7 or 8 seconds for the screen to come up. I go out, close my browser even, go back in, and it comes up in 1 second. My teammate does the same thing and has the same results. Or, I go into manager summary approval. I select the detail of one report - takes 7 or 8 seconds to show the detail. I get out, go back in their detail shows in 1 second. I select another report -takes 8 seconds for their detail, select another report - takes 8 seconds for their detail. Get out, go back in, sub second response time for them. Go to payment modeling, same thing. In looking in the IOS log file there are some entries fro IOSSecurityContext : 2013-09-10 09:25:00,885 INFO [WebContainer : 1] [ ] [ ] [IOSSecurityContext] Destroying security context for r103273
2013-09-10 09:25:10,869 INFO [WebContainer : 2] [ ] [ ] [IOSSecurityContext] Destroying security context for r103273 - sorry for the formatting, where it seems like it takes awhile to destroy the security context...the next pass, it gets destroyed right away. Any thoughts overall on what might be checked?
