Addins upload - BN31.2

Would anyone have an Addins upload template for the BN31.2 that they would be willing to share?

Hi Deanna,
Here are 2 of our templates, one for our DB plans and another for option plans. You should be able to add any fields that would apply to your company. Let me know if you have any problems or questions with them.

Thank you for the template samples! I was able to get it to work...sort of. The upload gave a successful Add Complete on the records but it didn't actually add them. I am wondering if there is a bug in the release that we are on. Apps 9.0.1.9

Will have to pursue that with Lawson Support. Thanks again for providing assistance!

We had the exact same problem with the false Add Complete message. I am struggling to remember how we resolved. It seems that part of the problem was the dates being used.

One other thing you can try is after you process your upload, if you click on the icon with the magnifying glass on the addins wizard - View the last upload query sent, you will get the call string. Copy all of the information here and paste it into your Lawson browser. Scroll down to the bottom of the page and you hopefully you will see the error message.

Have you though about using the bn531 template rather than trying to upload to the BN31.2 screen?

Yes, we have successfully used the bn531 to do the load. Was hoping to simplify it for our HR department by allowing them upload it using Addins.

The soft warning was getting me on the addins upload. I added an XMIT column (equal to 1) and it's working perfectly.

Rather than using BN31.2 try mapping BN31.1 to the add-ins. It is much simpler to map and it works well.
