Update LBI back office job with process flow

Our controller manually updates the date to last period and submits about 50 jobs that are picked up by LBI each month. We would like to use process flow to automate this.

When I use jobrun.exe with the query string FUNC=run&USER=&JOB=&OUT=XML the job runs. However, the report comes out owned by lawson instead of the user designated in the USER paramater. I see the report in the lawson print manager, not the job owner's print manager.

bldxffiles doesn't appear to pick up the report to send to LBI since the report owner and job owner are different.

Has anybody tried to do this?

Hi Nathanasmith - we've run into the same issue. Rather than trying to call another user's jobs, what we've done is create a service account specifically for this purpose with very limited access to the reports it needs to run. That account then "owns" the job and has access to all the reports just like a regular user does. It eliminates the issues caused by running another user's job. The jobs do end up in the Service Account's print manager, but that hasn't been an issue for us.
