EZ LEAN SCHEDULER
unknown
Hi, Is anyone using the EZ Lean scheduler successfully? We upgraded to 6.5.4 last October and can not get satisfactory results using it. It deletes work orders for no reason, doesn't plan material requirements the same for all parts. It is hampering our productivity and we could use an expert to help us understand the module.
Thanks

Hi - I sent you a private email. We've been experiencing issues with Lean as well, have two open incidents with infor, in which they have no answers and are taking a copy of our database. The two issues are - planned order for no reason we can discerne, and work order relase dates/schedule dates not working properly. Out channel partner has had no sucess either. Now - wanna compare notes on CRM? ug.

Heya, EL has it's limitations...if you do not know what they are then either Infor did not tell you or you did a self install/started using the product.
1. Rework wo's do not work without the "receiving in 1 pc" trick.
2. Inventory transactions need to be instantaneous and complete before the scheduler is run.
3. Inventory needs to be correct 100% of the time.
4. AGM-scheduling tab: "allow dbr to delete workorders" unchecked?
blah, blah, blah...so many.
The buffer theory has been successful (monitor & adjust as required)
Exceeding the quantity for the buffer has been an issue with us.
Changing CO's impacts WIP severly.
