BN299 Not picking up counts from BN27.1

We successfully transmitted our test file, but are now unable to get the monthly counts from the BN27 to appear on the 1094REP. Is anyone else having this issue? Has anyone successfully filed their production 1094C?

Hi Sharon - Development is aware of this issue, since other clients have found this. The system generated count is correct if you were doing a "production" run, whereas IRS test scenario isn't how a true transmission would be ran, since if you said there are 103 - 1095 forms attached, you would be submitting 103 - 1095 forms instead of just the one they are requiring. We will be putting a fix into a CTP to allow for test counts to be entered in the future that will address this issue.

You will get accepted with errors from the IRS, but it will not stop you from getting your TCC put into production. IRS only wants to ensure that they can communicate back with your system. Please call the IRS and ask them to move you from test to production.

My test submission is fine, and I have been moved to production. I am trying to get the monthly counts from the BN255, that I entered on BN27 R5 and R6, to appear on the 1094C. Columns b and c, rows 24-35.

Have spent two days on this. Would love to be able to talk to someone instead of just communicating this way. I have a ticket open as well.

Are you setting up the BN27.1 by your report entity that is being reported? You didn't override the BN27.1 Authoritative transmittal flag to No? If it is no, it will not report anything after line 19 of the 1094-C.
