ACA test xml transmission

I am trying to send the test xml transmission for ACA and getting the error on byte size. I did the fix from Lawson on looking at properties. Still getting the error. Is anyone else having this issue? How did you fix it.

Did you create the test scenario that was defined by Lawson? I was getting various errors too until I realized we needed to use the test scenario that Lawson provided. Process level CARRT, etc.

Yes. I did do the CARRT process level. I changed my manifest file to match the properties size and still getting the error.

I just wanted to clarify, we are supposed to create the exact example that Infor has given us for the IRS test submission, correct?

Yes - they are looking for the exact data that is in the IRS Test Scenario. Note: the company doesn't have to be 3004, you can setup the Process Level in any of your test companies.

Actually no. For the communications test my understanding is you just need to submit a complete and working set of XML files, the scenario that Infor provides you just happens to be the simplest of the suite of test scenarios that a software developer has to pass in order for the IRS to even accept files generated by their software. Using it helps safeguard that your file doesn't have some sort of impossible set of data that Infor's hasn't created safeguards to prevent you from submitting as well as ensuring that you are using the appropriate test EIN/TIN and names that are in the test database.

I have verified with their help desk that as long as your file is sent over and is in an 'accepted' or 'accepted with errors' status, they don't really care about the data in it for the communications test that issuers have to pass.

When setting up the test scenario, on BN27.1 I tried to enter the Topic Y1, but I get an error "Topic not found for country code US". Am I missing a step somewhere?

Do you need a TCC for each EIN? Or does it depend on how you have your ALE set up in BN00.8? Do you need to send the XML in the same format as your W2 information (we send each EIN separately for the W2s, would it be the same for ACA or can that be under our main company if that's how we set up BN00.8)?

Has anyone received this error with their test file: "Our system has detected a potential threat in the Manifest file you are attempting to transmit and it can not be transmitted. Please check the Manifest file and try again." No error code, no explanation of what is wrong.

I'd check your manifest file for one of the 'banned' character strings that they are refusing to allow be transmitted due to SQL injection worries.
