Creating files for submission to IRS

Our test transmission has been accepted by the IRS.  Now I am generating the reports in our Dev environment such as the BN255 etc.  We have one company with 22 independent process levels.  Originally when we ran the BN990 BN996 BN297 and BN299 we ran it for all. This was before patches were added.  It listed each entity. Now that we have separate TCC numbers for the process levels that have TCC numbers because they have individual EIN numbers do these reports have to be rerun again for each entity or can I submit under one but what would I use for a TCC number.

You will want the BN299 XML File to represent how the reporting structure was for the ACA Regulatory Reporting (BN297) that created the 1095 data. BN299 will break out the Independent Report Entities each getting their own XML Files (Manifest XML File and Forms XML File).



According to the IRS person I spoke with; she told me that the head company EIN would be the Issuer with their TCC, then the transmitter role would have one TCC that can be used for all the other EINs. Since you have TCC for each EIN, then you transmit for each TCC.
