IRS Transmission

We have 22 TCC # that the IRS has changed from T to P on Tuesday. This morning I tried to submit my file for one of the entities and I received a AIRMF3005 Rejected transmission - Error occurred in form status for form type. According to the rejection detail this means the Manifest "TestfileCode" must equal the value stored in the IRS database governing the status of the "formstypecd". Does this mean that it has not been change to "P" yet. I have checked my manifest and it does have "P" for the TestFileCode. Also when I resubmit do I have to change the file from O to R for replacement. I have been holding with the IRS for over 2 hours.

From an IRS presentation concerning corrections:

(seems to indicate that R/Replacement should be used.)

When is the correction process NOTused?

•A transmission or submission filed with the IRS that has been rejected

•Rejections require a replacement transmission

•Replace allrecords in the Transmission or Submission that was rejected

•Incorrect information on recipient statement not yet filed with the IRS

Also - The IRS says you have to wait 48 hours before your TCC is changed over to production.

It's not exactly 48 hours but if I have to use a replacement for this there is no Original ID on the Manifest. Is this correct? Or do I just rerun my BN299.

You have to rerun the BN299 to obtain a unique UUID, and in the new manifest file change the Transmission type to R and add a line with the receipt ID of the file you are replacing, see the third line below:

Lawson has not yet released the patch that addresses replacement files. I have not yet been able to successfully submit a replacement file.
