ACA files reject errors - AIREX126 & AIRER602

Can anyone shed some light on how to fix the following errors:

AIREX126 - Rejected submission - TIN Validation Failed for ALE Member's EIN

AIRER602 - Payload attachment error (MTOM) - unable to read the attachment

We are receiving the AIREX126 error also, but unsure what we need to do.

I also received the same error code message. I called the number the IRS provided, 866-937-4130. The call volume was so high the recording said to call next business day. I am at a loss as well and will reach out to Infor.

06/22/2016 - The IRS is currently investigating an internal system error that results in an AIRER602 or a reject without an Error Code or Error Data File.

If you receive an AIRER602, MTOM payload attachment error, ensure your transmission conforms to the guidance in Publication 5165, Sections 4.2 and 4.3.

If your file complies with the Publication 5165 guidance, or if your transmission was rejected without an Error Code or Error Data File; follow these instructions:

Known Issue: Rejected Transmission without an Error Data File, Error Code or due to Error Code AIRER602.

We are recieving the same error message and do not know how to fix it either.

AIRER602 is literally that they can't read the file you sent them.

Barring an actual issue on the IRS side of things, and if you are sure the file isn't mangled somehow.

I would suggest that the next step would be following up with your network/IT team and ensuring they don't have any data breach prevention measures implemented that might be intercepting your transmission and mangling it.

Being able to transmit a test file succesfully isn't a guarantee you wouldn't have issues with this, the EIN and SSN values used in the test scenarios looked nothing like a live SSN number (they were all restricted to the 000-00-xxxx range) so it's unlikely they'd have been caught by something looking for a real number.

If you go on the IRS website there is an update where the "IRS is currently investigating an internal system error that results in an AIRER602 error. " It then gives you instructions on what to check. We have 22 submissions only 1 so far has come back with that error. Fifteen of ours have already been accepted so I just resent the file today.

I was able to fix the AIRER602 error and resubmitted. The file was rejected again with error AIREX126- TIN Validation for ALE member's EIN and 165 AIRTN500 errors. Does anyone have instructions on how to fix these two errors?

To fix the AIREX126, we ended up changing the HR01 process level name to match our Transmitter name on the Manifest file. (Changed HR01 back after running BN299). Resubmitted the file and it was accepted. I am not familiar with the 500 error.
