For those that currently use Lawson to supply their clinical system with product information, how do you manage the bin locations?
Our current setup for our main operating room is not working well. We have a storage area in the basement that is used for picking items for case carts. We also have a core area, along with 2 additional product storage locations, that may or may not have items there that are also in the basement. Our current design only allows us to send over one single bin location. Does anyone have a process or a system design that allows you to send multiple bin locations for a single item form Lawson, and tie to a single location in the clinical system? If so, how do you differentiate between the storage locations?
Example, item 12345 lives in BASEMENT and in CORE. We can only send the location for BASEMENT and not CORE. Is there a way to send two bin locations, for a single item and also show which storage location that bin is for?
