Curious to see how others are processing Employee FTE changes that effect benefits. I'm submitting this for enhancement because it is not a current option, which is strange to me. Would like to hear from others to see if this is all manual for them too?

We use IPA to look for anyone with FTE changes. It puts them in a manual group and sets the end date of their enrollment on their HR11 ben date field. This allows them to get into an Annual Enrollment group which we have set up for each month. I.E. if they have a status change on 8/18/16, they're put in the august group so their benefits start on 9/1. Then they get an end date depending on how long they're able to enroll for. The second part of the IPA flow checks for any end dates that have passed and removes them from the enrollment group.



The downside of this is that we can't do online enrollment for status changes when we have open enrollment going on.
