Error in Corrected Unique Rwcord ID

We sent out a Corrected File with records that were not accepted in our original file due to wrong last names. I followed the KB on how to submit a correction and have talked to the IRS confirming to reference to the original receipt ID and the original record Id of the ones that got rejected. I'm getting error AIREX135 Rejected transmission - Error in Corrected Unique Record ID. Is this how you submit for corrections records that were rejected. Why am I getting AIREX135

We are getting the same error but it is with a 'correction' file created to fix issues with our first 'correction' file which was rejected. I found a document on the IRS website that says the says:

"If Form 1095-C 'CorrectedUniqueRecordId' ('ReceiptId' | 'SubmissionId' | 'RecordId') is present, then the Unique Submission ID portion ('ReceiptId' | 'SubmissionId') must match a Unique Submission ID from a Submission that was previously accepted by IRS."

I think I'm getting the AIREX135 error because the receipt ID in my 2nd correction file is that of the 1st correction file which was rejected by the IRS. I think I need to use the receipt ID from the original file which was 'accepted with errors'. However, the BN97 records with that receipt ID have already been processed by BN299 and the system won't let me remove the 'processed' flag to reuse them. I've opened a case with Infor to see if I'm on the right track and how to use the original file ID on my correction file.

I had the same problem yesterday. We had only corrected a test group of two employees so I moved on to others. I also have not been able to remove the "processed" flag to run a new BN299 for the two employees.

I had a message from Infor support that the scenario is being reviewed with development. Hopefully, there will be a patch soon to allow us to update the processed flag. I guess we were only supposed to need one shot at getting a record fixed.

According to the IRS, they are expecting the most current correction IRS Receipt ID, but this seems to not be the case in all correction scenarios. Development anticipated this might be the case, so made a loop hole to override if needed.

If you need the "Original" IRS Receipt ID records for another Correction BN299 XML attempt, you need to do a "Change" that removes the IRS Receipt ID from the "most Current" Correction run in BN89, then change the Processed Flag on BN97 to Not Processed on the "Original" Correction Run. Rerun the BN299 for the Original IRS Receipt ID to pickup those you re-indicated as Not Process in BN97.

Reading Publication 5165 page 45, it shows the diagram for correction submission, I've noticed in the correction file that I've created the Submission ID is "1" which is the same Submission ID of my original file (the file I'm trying to correct) would that be a problem should the Submission ID of the correction file be different from the original file
