Rejected ACA for TIN

We started with 41 TIN errors and we now we are down to 5 TIN errors. We have made changes on HR11/HR13 and BN 96.1. When we run BN299 to create the XML, the changes are not there for the 5 records. Is there another screen we need to change?

We have a Rejected status.

Did you change the flag on the BN97 to correction for the 5 individuals?

Because we have not been accepted, we have to create a replacement file. We did not run BN97

If your file was rejected, there might be an issue with the employer TIN. Do you have any errors other than the AIRTN500?

The IRS website shows 5 AIRTN500 errors.

Thanks CarlaM, it was the spelling on the company's name.

We abbreviated the company's name on HR00 and throughout our process. IRS was looking for the first four letters of the company's name to be the way they had it. Once we corrected that, the file was accepted.
