Position Control

We currently use an excel position control but are interested in moving it into Lawson. Is anyone using Lawson for position control, and if so, what has you experience been?

We used to use position budgeting. For the most part it worked well the way we had it set up but our Finance folks decided they wanted to budget in their budgeting software instead so we do not keep track of budgeted positions through PA70/72 anymore.

We use positions exclusively, but we don't use budgeting at this time. There are pros and cons with position management - if you want to contact me with any questions you might have, feel free.

Did you ever moving to using Lawson position control? We are looking moving it to Lawson.
