The RAS settings are set to unlimited. Busting security fails if heavy usage. Any advice? Can Websphere be tuned? or is it just unreasonable to assume the dashboard can handle that much "traffic"

You could make a second instance of RAS to handle increased traffic from RS. We have that set up here...

Let me see if I can find documentation with screen shots.

Since I can't seem to find a way to attach a document- here are the steps

Go to your RAS server:

Launch the Central Configuration Manager program

Highlight your RAS server

Click the ‘Add Report Application Server’ from the button bar

Select ‘Next’

Specify a unique port number (original is using 1566, so we just picked 1567 for the 2nd one)

Select ‘Next’

Click ‘Finish’

Configure this the same as your original one… following the LBI install guide.

Also, you must go back to your LBI server (if RAS is on it’s own server) and modify the

{LBI_HOME}ReportingServicesReporting Services.earerswar-version.warWEB-INFlibclientSDKOptions.xml file. Follow the LBI instructions carefully…

Test.

If you’ve specified a different temp directory when you were going through configuring the server/service, it shouldn’t be too difficult to tell if it’s running correctly.

thank you. I will try it in our test env. I was just told by Infor support that where RAS settings eq "unlimited".. unlimited actually equal 75. very odd!
