Prod Line Name Change - effect on LBI Back Office Reports

We are upgrading (eventually!) from Lawson Apps 9.0.1 to 10.0.x.  Our current product line name is prod9.  Our future product line name is prod.  Has anyone successfully performed database updates in LBI so that Back Office Reports do not need to be republished under a new Report ID for them to be picked up and processed by LBI?  We made a change that results in the Data Settings screen showing 'prod", and the published.csv file shows "prod", and the broadcast.csv file appears after you run the report, which generates the print file with the appropriate tags.  However - it never creates a new instance in LBI.

We upgraded to Lawson version 10 over a year ago.  

Do a "select * from ers_reportattributes where attributeid = 2 and attributevalue = '{your existing productline]' ".  For us, attributeid = 2 was the record containing the productline value.  This SQL showed me all the published instances for the reports that were listed in our published.csv file.  

The published.csv file seems to get regenerated from the values in instance 0 of this table .  I had I/S update the attributevalue field for attributeid =2  in the database to our new productline and I also manually updated the published.csv file as well.  

From my notes, it seems the published.csv file gets recreated from data in the database table when you publish a brand new report or delete an existing one.  If you are just publishing a new instance, the system seems to use whatever is currently in the published.csv file.

As with anything, do the above in a test system first.
