We were recently notified by our bank that our ACH file's SEC (Standard Entry Class) code in our Accounts Payable ACH file was incorrect and not following ACH guidelines. We have the SEC code of "PPD" in our ACH file. Our ACH file contains payments to individuals and to companies. According to our bank, payments made to individuals should be coded "PPD" and payments made to companies should be coded "CCD". In our payment runs, we pay both individuals and companies. According to Lawson/Infor Support, we would need to identify our vendors as "PPD" or "CCD" and then run the AP160 job twice (once for each type). I find it hard to believe that we need to run our payment process multiple times and send multiple files to the bank. How do other Lawson/Infor customers handle this situation? Any advice would be appreciated!
