We recently went live with the Performance management module for version 10. We only went live with introductory evals as we do Annual Evals once a year (completed Jan-March).
Right now we are working on the build/implementation of our annual eval process. We are having a hard time understanding how to set up prorations for new hires (We do not give full PPA's for new hires and it's prorated based on the month they start without organization). We were hoping we could set this up in the compensation planning rules, but have been told it may be best to set up custom groups. I REALLY prefer not to set up custom groups for new hire prorations as that would mean over 40 custom groups... just don't want to go there.
Has anyone else had any luck setting up prorations in the system? If so, would you be willing to share how?
