I am not the TM Security consultant here but have a fair amount of knowledge with it but have a struggle point and wondered if anyone had anything to share.
I know the Business Class and the Role in which needs 'changed'.
However, I don't know how to determine which Security Class needs changed.
Support just told me in a ticket on what needed updated but I want to understand it myself.
I asked our Landmark Security person and he indicated the only way he knew was to add the 'LPL' to the view on Security Class, export to excel and then search for the business class to try and narrow it down.
The scenario here was we needed to make the Private notes on the EmployeeJournal bc not viewable to the employees in the HRGeneralist role.
Support told us we needed to change the PMMInquiry security class but I want to understand how she knew that.
Sorry if this seems like a silly, **** question.
This was an issue we had logged for months with 3 different support tickets and this last one finally just told us what to change. And it was fixed/tested in less than 20 minutes after we knew what to change.
