We are paid by weekly and currently have standard hours setup as 80, and run the process to generate an automatic time record for salaried TMs. When we move our store managers to salaried non-exempt, we would want to feed in something like the following....
Week 1:
40 Reg
12 Half Time
Week 2:
40 Reg
10 Half Time
If their salary in HR11 is 28600, which would make the weekly salary 550... the regular rate of pay for week 1 would be 550 / 52 hours = 10.58 and make the half time rate 5.29.
Week2 : Regular rate = 550 /50 = $11.00 and make the half time rate = 5.50.
The federal regulations state that as the work week increases, the regular rate of pay decreases. They would always be paid 40 hours, because they are salaried, but the overtime rate changes based on total hours and the regular rate of pay.
