Looking for query behind user.isInChainOfCmdOfEmpInHR

We have used the security function user.isInChainOfCmdOfEmpInHR.  I would like to add this to queries we use for displaying anyone in a reporting chain.  Does anyone have or know how to get the logic behind this function?

This function does the following:



-Looks up the user logged in

-Retrieves the Agent of the user logged in (the Agent is the Company and Employee ID number) based on the settings in Lawson Security Administrator/Manage Identities screen of the user

-Based on the user's Agent (Employee ID number), determines if the user is a Manager/Supervisor (based on the HR11). On the HR11 form, you can see the Employee's Manager/Supervisor.

-If the user is a Manager, then the query retrieves the Direct Reports (and everyone in the "Chain of Command" of the user) based on the Manager/Supervisor settings defined on the HR07 form.

-The result is that the user logged in has access to all of his "Chain of Command"



Example: If the user is a Vice President, then the user has access to all of his own Directors, Managers, Supervisors, Employees, etc (all the way down the "Chain of Command")
