.scr/form help please

I copied an existing online program to create a new one. The existing program only had a single form in the .scr file. I added 5 more forms (.2, .3, .4, etc) to the new .scr file and updated the PD to process the data in the forms. The forms in LID work perfect. I can do a form transfer to all 6 forms and enter/update data. However, when I go into LSA - only the ".1" form is showing and when I go into Design Studio and Ming.le - only the ".1" is showing. In LSA, I only have access to the ".1" (because the other 5 don't show in there) but yet in LID I can form transfer to every form. I'm been a Lawson developer for 20 years but this one has me stumped. I'm fairly new to LSA and Ming.le (only about a year). Any help would be greatly appreciated. I'd be happy to share the .scr file is anybody thinks it would help to look at it. Thanks so much in advance.

Did you clear the cache in LS ? Log off and log back on after clearing. Are you pointing to the correct product-line?

Yes, I tried that. I logged back off and on and yes to the product line (we only have one). Someone suggested I do a pgmdump/pgmload of the program back to itself to see if that would reset anything and that didn't work. All the forms work in LID fine - they all update/delete/insert data as expected into the custom database tables behind them. But in Design Studio/Mingle/LSA - only the ".1" form shows up - which is mind boggling because how am I able to update all the forms via LID if I've only granted access to the ".1"?

Delete the object files created from the compile- including the xml that was created and repeat all the same steps. I have had to do this in the past.

Don't the new forms need to be defined as tokens using tokendef?

All 6 forms show up in tokendef/application form IDs - I see all 6 forms there as expected. They all work perfect in LID. I just tried deleting all the files from the compile and recompiling them and tried again - still only the ".1' shows up in LSA/ Design Studio/Ming.le.... I also tried doing just the scrgen to see the output SD file, just to see if anything looked off, and it clearly showed all 6 forms.

Did you try running the Rebuild Custom Forms Index?

Not sure this is the cause but if you are adding these forms in an environment that has more than one productline (more than one LSA application profile) in LSA and it is not the defined as the primary profile, it will not pick up the new programs, tables, etc. For example, if TEST is the primary LSA profile and you are making changes to DEV, you will not see the added programs, tables etc in DEV security.

I appreciate any thoughts. No, it's definitely added to the right profile. And rebuild custom forms index didn't work. I'm going to try opening a ticket with Infor. it's probably going to something really **** that I did. I basically started with an existing program, that had a .scr file with ONE form in it and used pgmdef to copy that program to another program name. I then went into the new .scr and manually added the 5 additional forms. After that, I went into LSA and only saw the ".1" form, so I granted access to that form only. When I went back into LID and ran the program via LID - I was able to form transfer (F8) to ALL the forms without an issue an was able to update data via all the forms (even though in LSA I only granted access to the .1 form). However, in Mingle and Design Studio the forms .2 through .6 do not appear. They do appear in tokendef.

Have you tried doing an xscrgen to regenerate the xml files? Otherwise I would have expected if the tokendefs were defined that this should work.

We found when adding and/or changing an application on same server with multiple product lines, the altered application need to exist, in its entirety, then security did not always pick up the existence of that application. Regardless, of using it yet on both product lines. For example, xo11 developed on product line DEVELOPMENT. It needed to be added to product line QnA.

Kelvin, this is what I was trying to describe as well. If you have 2 productlines tied to the same Profile in LSA, there is one that is primary and if that's not the one that is being altered with new forms, programs, tables, etc. you will not see these changes in LSA.

Yes I am modifying the correct profile and we only have one product line. What is strange is the program DOES show up - but only the .1 form (not .2 through .6)

Can you please share the .scr file? Maybe looking directly at it would allow someone to notice something.

Here is the .scr file - I saved it with a different name but it is named BG60.scr in our /glsrc library

With the last couple of 10.0.X technology releases we have seen a couple of strange issues with LS and forms working in LID but not in the portal. After spending a ton of time troubleshooting, researching on InforXtreme, etc., the fix both times was to bounce the app server. We cycled the entire server but you could probably just cycle WAS.
