Globally setting csv workfile attributes

I apologize for the cross-posting....

In the past we have set our PRTRCSV globally set the attributes for the PRTRCSV file so that job will recognize the file to have no headers and a ccyymmdd date format.

Can someone point us in the right direction? We can't remember how to do it.

Hi Margie,

You can go to workdef for the PR530 and then the file prtrcsv then click on F6 to define and go to B. Define file attributes.

Not sure if this will help you or not.. but we had to do something like this globally for TAPE files and here is part of the article we followed.

Resolution:

Go to workdef.

Type in your product line.

Tab past System Code and Program Code, and enter the word Tape in the File Name field.

Tab over to the File Media field. Change this field from Sequential to Tape .
